Special Dark Chocolate

I need a recipe for dark chocolate shortbread balls.?

I am looking for a recipe that my mom remembers from her childhood Christmas’. It is a a dark chocolate ball made with shortbread and topped with a green chocolate mint flavored leaf. I have looked everywhere and cannot find anything similar, please help me make Christmas special for her!
