Coated Snack

Do you have any “chex mix” coating recipes that you’ve tried and enjoy?

Also, what do you put in your snack mix besides chex-type cereal, peanuts and pretzels?

I’ve seen chex-mix made with just about any type of dry cereal, cracker, etc. (ie: buggles, gold fishes, pretzels, peanuts, cinnimen grahm crackers, etc.)

Also a nice little treat/tip…
If you want to add things that aren’t really bakable such as M&M’s, Reese’s pieces, raisen, etc. Bake your cereals, nuts, pretzels, etc and then after it cools down, then add your other items and stir (or mix up). This takes chex-mix and almost turns it into a trail mix.

Best thing to do is mix and match and have fun sampling.
I have never had a bad tasting chex-mix (just be gentle on the spices at first tests!!)
