Cinnamon Gum
Tongue hurts after Altoids Cinnamon gum?
I’ve chewed some Altoids “curiously strong” cinnamon gum. I’ve been very surprised at how strong they are. Worst of all, my tongue hurts a lot now. It hurts when I speak or when I eat… Does anyone knows how to relieve (or supress) the pain?
What is the point of selling candies that hurt so much?
you may be allergic to a certain chemical/ingredient they put in the gum.
does it happen with other gums (non cinnamon) too?
I find that sugar-free gum (or tins of mints) with different sugar alternatives, make my tongue sore.
try searching online for the link between cinnamon and sore tongue (in the five minutes i did so there was quite a bit of info, too much to put here)
