What happens if you lose a lot of weight and have big scars?
Alright, my friend and I were talking, and we were watching Big Medicine or something like that. It was talking about how when you are younger, your skin will go back to normal quicker than when you are older after you have lost a lot of weight.
We were wondering though, what if you have big scars on your skin. Do you lose those scars along with the extra skin, or do you lose the skin without the scars, or do the scars stretch?
Does anyone have any idea or approximation of what might happen?
the scars stay there, but they’ll change in shape/color/size depending on how drastic the weight lost/location of the scar. Same thing happens with stretch marks–they’ll get lighter and smaller, but they’ll never fully go away.
